Baby bibs: choose for the job
Absorbent fabric bibs, wipe-clean feeding bibs and full-coverage sleeved bibs serve different purposes. Compare the neck fastening, coverage, weight and washing instructions. A multipack is useful only if you like the fit and can keep up with the washing.
Bowls, plates and spoons
- Check the product dimensions against your table or high-chair tray.
- For suction designs, check which surfaces the manufacturer says will work.
- Look for care instructions that match your washing routine. Dishwasher-safe does not automatically mean microwave-safe.
- Check whether replacement parts or individual pieces can be bought separately.
Cups and bottles
Compare capacity, the number of parts to clean, replacement lid or teat availability, and how easily the product fits in your bag. Follow the manufacturer’s age guidance and care instructions.
Before buying a set
List the pieces you will use regularly. A smaller set with the right bowl, spoon and bib can be more practical than a large bundle.
